I read today about a lecture given by Professor Judy Rosener. Loosely speaking, her research area is around the complementary leadership styles of men and women. She is described as "an extremely vibrant and inspiring 81 year old academic with many words of wisdom". What I wish to share is her statement that "Good leaders need to have a back bone, a wish bone and a funny bone". True in many professions but none more so than education.
